If you pick any option that isn’t male, it turns out your parents were just confusing you on purpose to make sure nobody finds out about the secret behind the New Kid’s powers. In the first game you had to play as a boy, but now they added an option to be male, female, or other. The new kid never speaks, so you feel like you’re actually playing as yourself.Īnother game-changing thing they’ve added is the ability to choose your gender.

Like the previous game, it’s animated in typical South Park style and it really makes you feel like you’re part of the show. The enemies are a lot harder, one of them being Morgan Freeman who is an optional boss with 9999 health, and he causes more damage than you actually have. However in TFBW you can now move around on a different tiles. In TSOT, it was just a turn-based game where you stayed still. The game has been altered a lot from the first game, one of the best things being the combat. It satirizes the superhero genre of film and video gaming, an example of this being the main power the new kid has is the power of time travel… Using their farts. It continues from The Stick of Truth (where you’re playing a medieval role-playing game caught in a war between humans and elves) but this time you’re playing as a superhero. In the game, you play as the New Kid alongside the characters from the show. Matt Stone and Trey Parker were heavily involved in the creation of the game, coming up with ideas for the mechanics and the gameplay as well. It was programmed and developed by Ubisoft, but the story/plot was written by the writers at South Park Studios. The audience would be into dark comedy and satire. South Park usually attracts males, although females enjoy it as well. It’s aimed at the South Park audience, so mainly aged 18+.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole is an amazing video game.
